Looks like the connection is actually refused by the server.
Since the second (failing) connect seemingly doesn't use the secure logon data, are you sure that the connection data is maintained correctly (hostname and portnumber)?

Partition based on your development requirements. A simple way to go ahead is using range partition based on date, this would suit simple scenarios. You should partition the table before loading data into it.
you can refer to the following link for some details.
Hi,
You can also try to write a simple XSJS script to call the procedure and export the results and store it as a CSV/XL in you client filesystem.
Hope this helps

Hello guy,
I wonder if note 1944098 - Missing recovery progress in SAP HANA Studio Recovery Wizard can give you some hint about this recovery progress script.
It mention that Monitor the progress of the running recovery. Look for entries such as: "RECOVERY RECOVER DATA started", "RECOVERY progress of service", "RECOVERY state of service", "RECOVERY RECOVER DATA finished"
Maybe you can grep such entries in backup.log and let them shown in your script output.
For example of the output:
2014-07-29T14:09:11+08:00 P032094 | 14780bca203 INFO | RECOVERY RECOVER DATA started |
...
2014-07-29T14:10:08+08:00 P032094 | 14780bca203 INFO | RECOVERY progress of service: indexserver, hosta:32003, volume: 2, 22% 4294967296/19438673920 |

Hi Team,
I am facing a strange issue where i get this error whenever i query a statistics server table.
select * from _sys_statistics.statistics_alerts
* 2054: delta log replay failed: search table error: [1527] exception during deltalog replay. See trace file for more information SQLSTATE: HY000
I am checking sap notes and other information. Wanted to know if anyone has faced this issue?
I see lot of errors in the indexserver trace files.
3): transaction rolled back by an internal error: [129] "_SYS_STATISTICS"."SHARED_WRITE_INTERNAL_ALERT": line 7 col 316 (at pos 627): [129] (range 3): transaction rolled back by an internal error: exception during deltalog replay. See trace file for more information
What exactly is happening here and also which trace file is it referring i am already in the index server trace file. Is there another trace file?
Ning,
Appreciate your response. One question if we start grepping for the terms how are we going to manage. Its not one service right. Many services too many to stuff to display right.
Hello guy,
Can you just filter the current progress for the given service indexserver, nameserver, xsengine, statisticsserver and discard other unimportant information. (To be frank, I am not good at script, sorry about that ).

Hi Gents,
We are having a problem activating an hdbtable we dropped via SQL command and delete the hdbtable from the repository.
We recreate the hdbtable file and went to activate the table again and we got an error saying that the database connection has been lost. Right after that the indexserver would restart. We did this a couple of times and same thing happened.
Thinking about what the problem could be we came out with a name: 'zombie table'. Apparently it wasn't active but it wasn't in the repository either.
We checked the SYS_REPO table INACTIVE_OBJECTS and we found 2 entries there referencing the table so my question is Can we just go ahead and delete those entries? I checked all other tables from SYS_REPO schema and I didn't find any entry whatsoever. Our guess is that after deleting those entries we'll be able to create the hdbtable again and activate it.
What do you think guys?

Christian.
Hi,
Hope the link below will answer your question.
I have a "Quick Launch" entry in the modeler perspectives help menu.
However, selecting that does not bring any screen.
I have the same question but not sure if the above thread answered it.
I am using hybris and need to configure HANA DB to work with hybris. However, I have still not got clear idea whether HANA DB can be installed locally on laptops with 8 GB or 16 GB RAM.
I see a lot of posts which says the cloud instance can be used. However, the question is whether that is the ONLY option and does that essentially mean HANA DB can't be installed like Oracle and MYSQL DB.
Appreciate any quick suggestions.
Thanks.
Saurabh
Seems that the update has removed the "Quick Launch" view in the Modeler perspective.
It cannot be found with the quick view tool.
What can I do do restore that ?
Hi All,
We are planning the upgrade from ECC6 EHP2 to EHP7 (SAP Business Suite) on SAP HANA database.
Please let me know is it possible deploy a software component "HANA CONTENT HBA REFX 100 SP01 (technical name HCO_HBA_REFX)" to enable the REFX module on HANA?
My understanding is HANA will be used only for the analytical purposes ( only using the XS server by consuming the HANA models directly ) and the regular transactions will continue to execute from the application server as like earlier.

Venky
Hi Folks,
I have a doubt, has anyone tried to implement cleanipc for a distrubuted instance. I wanted to corelate with SAP instance. Is that required on HANA?
Ning,
No sorries please you are trying to filter.
Will think of a way to do that.
There are many other topics related to hana production support i would be posting.
Can you please answer them if you have time.
Sunil,
Great point have you tried this option?
Will it not affect the future alerts?
Hi Ravi,
That wasn't the question. You pointed me to John Appkeby's blog post on S4HANA. S4HANA right now only supports Simple Finance. What I need to know is - what does HANA support today for the third generation Business Suite. For example, can I use HANA for CRM, FICO, MM, SD, HR, etc. I can't seem to find a definitive answer that is current on public facing SAP sites.

Bill
Hi Arden,
Thanks for your quick reply. Iam trying to pay in www.training.Sap.com
I have added my credit card details and couldn't able to add my Credit card billing address. But system is taking Billing address as my company address by default (This address is coming from my S User id ). Do you know how to change this billing address? Did you face this problem?
Any thoughts in this is helpful.
Thanks
