HANA user tasks will depend upon the roles and privileges he has been assigned.
If he is a MODELER he will be more into data provisioning, creating models and into XS development that includes writing JSON codes, JavaScript and using SAPUI5 and OData
Creating Analytic privileges
He can also import Delivery units if he has the privilege
If he is an administrator -
he will be responsible for its installation, maintenance, upgrade and then there are various other aspects of administration, to name a few -
Few privileges:
BACKUP ADMIN - responsible for creating backups and performing recovery
MONITOR ADMIN - he will be responsible for monitoring all the system activities
PUBLIC role is implicitly granted to a user when a user is created
If he has only that role then he would have limited access - he won't be able to create any views or activate them
HANA user task management may mostly include:
Providing different roles and privileges to different people
Like in our company, we have created a new role to be given to all those users who want to learn HANA using OpenSAP course
We need to manage how to apply restrictions and which privileges do we need to grant?
