In this part SAP has put together OLAP and OLTP in one: traditionally, various enterprise systems (eg., ERP, SCM, BW, CRM etc.) have different databases that are optimized for the type of processing each did (transactional vs. analytic) resulting in a need to constantly move data from transactional systems to analytic system for reporting. In this the plus point is you are running OLAP+OLTP together. SAP plans to have all of the industry solutions supported on HANA by year end.
