HANA not only will replace BW, it has lot more that BW, technically it replaced the concept of RDBMS which we use to follow for years and years.
A entirely new concept of memory database and column tables is introduced in HANA with parallel processing in multi core processors.
Also it can connect any of the report tool ex. excel, web, etc. with 1000 times faster response comparing to existing solutions.
